The Kevin J. Pecor Memorial Foundation was started as a result of Kevin’s sudden and tragic death in January of 2003. While riding home from work on his bike, Kevin was struck and killed by a motor vehicle. The loss of Kevin has had a dramatic effect, not only on those who loved him, but also his community and those whose lives he has touched. Kevin was a soft-spoken kid with a beautiful smile who had the ability to light up a room with his laughter. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have shared in Kevin’s life have decided to start a memorial foundation in his honor to celebrate all he gave to others. Through the memorial foundation we will be able to exemplify Kevin’s generosity and kind spirit by raising funds to support school and community programs in need. The public outpouring of support and desire to help following Kevin’s death has been the driving force in the development of the Kevin J. Pecor Memorial Foundation.
Please call your Representative or Senator and voice support for Senate Bill 825 filed by Senator Gale Candaras of Wilbraham which states that driving on a suspended or revoked license constitutes negligence per se when it results in a fatality.
